Ride 911 Miles for 9/11
Ride 911 Miles for 10 year Anniversary of 9/11.
We ride to Never Forget!
- Ride to take place from 9/9/11 to 9/11/11.
- Ride will begin at 8 am at Anchorage House of Harley. Ride will be at your own pace.
- Ride to begin at 8 AM, Coffee, doughnuts, and sign in at 7 AM with a 7:50 AM Safety briefing.
- First day’s ride to Fairbanks via Parks Highway. (361 Miles est.)
- Stay in Fairbanks at one of the many hotels or campgrounds.

- Second day’s ride to leave at 8am from Fairbanks to Palmer via Richardson Highway. (380 Miles est.)

- Third day’s ride to leave at 8am from Palmer to Sterling via AK-1. (170 Miles est.)
- Once in Sterling, we will have a BBQ at Kenai Peninsula Harley Davidson, with a Blessing and Remembrance Ceremony to follow.
- 911 Memorial dedication in Soldotna, at Central Emergency Services Station #1, an additional 4 miles away.
- Cost of Ride- $55 for shirt and BBQ dinner. All other incurred costs are responsibility of rider.
- All proceeds and donations collected go to support the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.
- If you chose to stay in Soldotna/Sterling area on Sunday there are many hotel and campground options available.
